Sake Review
Our Tasting Notes
Full bodied, earthy, and mellow. The Kurosawa Kimoto sits in a flavor zone most sake doesn't visit. Right between sweet and umami, where rice just gets to be rice.

What surprised me most was...
How varied the aroma was at different temperatures. Warm it smells like rich earth. Cold it smells like muscat grapes, cream, and a hint of honeysuckle. Same sake, completely different conversation.
Open this when...
You have a moment to heat it up and lean into the cozy.
Like a good stretch of highway...
This sake is open-ended. You can keep driving down it and always find something new. Hot, chilled, or room temperature, it's an exciting road every time.
Pour this for someone who...
Likes sake hot. This is a fantastic sake to gently heat to the atsukan (120°F) range.
This belongs on a table with...
Everything. Smoked salmon, chipotle chicken, fried tofu, pulled pork... the brewery wasn’t exaggerating when it claimed versatility in every bottle.
