First sip and I already knew...

This sake was different. Like a complex melody that continuously unfolded. That band you didn't know but after the first song they were your favorite.

Three words that describe this sake are...

Complex, bright, invigorating.

What surprised me most was...

The citrus. A warm orange and a bite on the back of the tongue that not everyone seems to find. My hunch is the yeast that gave it that honeycrisp apple aroma shifted toward orange on the tongue and clicked on my acid receptors.

What stays with you is...

The pleasantness of it. Like you’re still humming the melody and vibrating from the experience.

Open this when...

You want to celebrate life. This one is jolly and invigorating.

If you liked this, try...

Decadent and seductive. A junmai ginjo from a rice that spent sixty years extinct and came back swinging.
